Russell W Petit

FORT WALTON BEACH, FL – Russell William Petit, age 61, passed away on January 4, 2023.

Born on December 12, 1961 to the late William J. and Bessie I. Petit.  Russell passed away in Fort Walton Beach, FL in which he resided for many years with his brother, Gary.  He had previously resided in Ft. Recovery, OH and had served with the Indiana National Guard.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Ronald, and Gary.  He is survived by his brother Randall Petit of Celina, OH; sisters, Sandra Newsome of Bluffton, OH, Cindy Ramaklus Hicks of Alva, NE, and Linda Hart of Columbus Grove, OH; nephews, Mike and Mitch Petit, Jason and Justin Newsome, Aaron and William Remaklus; niece, Samantha Hart Shall

A Christian graveside memorial service with military honors will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023 at 1 p.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery, 161 W. Clinton St., Doylestown, OH, 44230 with Fr. Peter Morris, officiating.
