Ruth M. Waggamon

DOYLESTOWN – Ruth M. Waggamon, age 95, passed away on June 4, 2025.

Born on January 4, 1930 in Norton, OH to the late Walter and Anna (Bittaker) Frase, she was a graduate of Doylestown High School and was a life resident of the Doylestown / Barberton area.  Having worked as a secretary at various local businesses, she was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Beatrice, Leonard Frase, Pauline Holloman, Lloyd Frase, Ivan Frase, and Ralph Frase.  She is survived by her husband of 75 years, Ervin; son, David (Jacquline) Waggamon of Cumming, GA; daughter, Kathleen (Benjamin) Walker of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Nathan (Katie) Tewart, Gordon (Steffanie) Tewart, Michael Waggamon, Katherine Waggamon; great grandchildren, Autumn, Norah, Simon, Antonio; other family and friends.

Funeral service will be Monday, June 9, 2025 at 12 p.m. at Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St., Doylestown, OH, 44230 with Pastor Jane Mokren, officiating.  Burial will take place at Chestnut Hill Cemetery.  Calling hours will be one hour prior to service on Monday.  Online obituary and guest registry are available at www.zakmonbarrenfh.com
