Thomas R. Bilowsky

DOYLESTOWN – Thomas R. Bilowsky, age 69, passed away on February 23, 2025.

Born in Akron on January 15, 1956 to the late Nicholas Jr. and Mary (Gornay) Bilowsky, Thomas had been a resident of Doylestown since 1983. He was a graduate of Walsh Jesuit High School and earned his degree from the University of Akron. Thomas retired from Akron General Medical Center as an MRI Technician.  A member of Zion Lutheran Church and the Summit Sportsman Association, Tom loved woodworking and the outdoors, he especially enjoyed fishing and boating.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Patty Matheny. Thomas is survived by his wife of 43 years, Sharon; sons, Nicholas and Greg (Dr. Mandie Mendiola) Bilowsky, both of Doylestown; grandchildren, Sara, Maggie, and Greg Jr.; sister, Barb (Tom) Pfeiffer of Cuyahoga Falls; other family members and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 11 a.m. at the Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St., Doylestown, OH, 44230 with Pastor Jane Mokren, officiating. Burial will take place at Chestnut Hill Cemetery.  Calling hours will be held on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ohio Division of Natural Resources, 2045 Morse Rd., Columbus, OH, 43229 or Zion Lutheran Church, 65 W.
