DOYLESTOWN – Thomas W. “Tom” Menser, age 69, passed away on June 24, 2025.
Born in Detroit, MI on December 29, 1955 to the late John W. and Vivian L. (Waddell) Menser, he was a resident of Doylestown for the past 10 years, previously of Kenmore. A graduate of Kenmore High School, Tom was a book binder by trade and had worked for Crawford Book Bindery in Kenmore until its closing and later retired from H.F. Group. He had a passion for antiques. Tom loved to buy and sell items that he had obtained from his many yard sales, auctions, and flea markets that he attended.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Bonny and children, Debra Menser of Norton, Steven (Carrie) Menser of Norton, Timothy Menser of Akron, Scott (Ashlee) Menser of Seville; grandchildren, Amber, Carissa, Jaden, Jaxon, Makayla, Andrew (Vanessa),Lexi; great granddaughter, Genesis and a great grandson on the way; sisters, Diane Menser, Kathy (Terry) Uhrain, Sharon (David) Hoyt, Lisa Menser (Mark Somerville), Susanne Menser (Gary Emrick); other family and friends.
A celebration of Tom’s life will be held on Sunday, July 13, 2025 at The Old 97 Café, 1503 Kenmore Blvd., Akron, OH, 44314 from 1 to 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Summa Hospice, 141 N.
