Thomas R. Perry

BARBERTON – Thomas R. “Tom” Perry, age 69, passed away unexpectedly on May 29, 2025.

Born on August 22, 1955 in Barberton, OH to the late Harry and Mary Perry, he was a resident of Barberton for the past 15 years, previously of Akron.  Starting his career with Acme Grocery stores right out of high school, Tom had retired as produce manager after many years of service.  An outdoorsman at heart, he loved to fish and hunt and was an avid knife collector.

He is survived by his children, Emily Young (Jody Lakins) of Canton, Michelle (Brett) Jackson of Barberton, Michael Perry of Barberton, Ryan Perry of Oahu, Hawaii; 7 grandchildren; sister, Lynn Cunningham of Norton; brother, Ed (Pat) Perry of Wadsworth; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
