Thomas C. Rizzi

AKRON – Thomas “Tom” Clifford Rizzi, age 73, passed away unexpectedly on August 28, 2024.

Born on December 10, 1950 in Quonset Point, RI to the late Clifford Thomas and Marie Jo (Sterley) Swires, he lived most of his life in Akron, Bath, and Richfield.  Tom loved cars, especially his 1969 Dodge Dart Swinger and anything Mopar.  He was an avid New York Yankees and Green Bay Packers fan and lived his life being known as “The guy that would give you the shirt off his back”.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his stepfather, Joseph L. Rizzi Sr., brother, Daniel, and his best friend/dog, Bosco. Tom is survived by many family members and friends; caretakers, Matt and Patty Rizzi, JoAnne Sours; and his dog, Bennie.
