Vincent F. Monteleone

NORTON – Vincent F. Monteleone, age 64, passed away on May 2, 2023.

Born on October 3, 1958 in Canton, OH, he was a resident of Norton for 18 years, previously of Massillon.  Vince retired from the concrete industry, but his passion was music.  He was a solo artist for over 15 years, playing his guitars and singing.  He had been a member of various bands throughout his 40+ year musical career. Vince was also an avid sports fan, cheering on his three Cleveland teams. One of his greatest joys was bringing pleasure to all of those that he entertained with his music and songs.

Preceded in death by his father, Vincent A. Monteleone, he is survived by the love of his life, Patricia A. Smetzer; his children, Adrienne Monteleone of North Canton, Anthony (Kristen) Monteleone of Barberton, and Ashley Monteleone (Jennifer Wulff) of Cuyahoga Falls; mother, Virginia Monteleone of Massillon; brother, Gary (Rosie) Monteleone of Massillon; numerous other family members and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 1676 S. Cleveland-Massillon Rd., Copley, OH, 44321 with Fr. Chris Weber, Celebrant.  Memorials in honor of Vincent may be made to The Cleveland Clinic or University Hospitals Organ Donation Programs.  Online obituary and guest registry are available at www.zakmonbarrenfh.com
