ORRVILLE – Vivian May Leaman, age 83, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2024 at Shady Lawn Nursing Home after a brief illness.
Vivian was born on August 28, 1940 in Wooster to the late Dale and Ruby (McPhillen) Leaman and was a resident of Orrville since the mid 1990’s, previously of Columbus, OH. A 1958 graduate of Wooster High School, she worked as a dental tech for Dr. Dawe for many years, and at the Timken Co. in Columbus until she broke her hip and had to retire. She was also a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserve. Vivian was a very talented artist and a huge animal lover. She had many cats over the years and her buddy Jonesy was by her side when she passed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Paul Sprang, Larry and Robert Leaman and sisters, Joan Good and Eileen Pagniano. She is survived by her sister, Karen Meadors of Denison, TX, many nieces and nephews, and her friend, Jann Lehr Henthorn.
The family would like to thank the staff at Shady Lawn Nursing Home in Dalton for all their kind and loving care and all the residents who befriended her.
