W. Jean Roberts

DOYLESTOWN – W. Jean Roberts, age 87, passed away on November 16, 2023.

Born on August 21, 1936 in Akron, OH to the late Samuel and Madge (Cunningham) Clair, she was a resident of Doylestown since 1976.  A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother, she enjoyed spending time with her family and watching all of her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Howard C. Roberts; daughter, Patricia (Robert) Hantzsche; son-in-law, James Duncan; sisters, Betty Kimble, Alane Liller, Naomi Crine, Charlene Ault; brother, James Clair. Jean is survived by her daughters, Vickie Burke of Massillon and Susan Duncan of Doylestown; grandchildren, Kenneth (Sara) Workman, Daren Workman, Ashley Workman, William (Gwynne) Roberts, Miranda (Dustin) Walsh, Steven Hubiak; great grandchildren, Kenny Jr., Greg, Joey, Kiera, Serenity, Kylie, Aiden, Pierceton, Spencer, Landon, Alyssa, Chamberlyn, Brian, Arabella, and Paige; great great grandson, Lucas; sister, Madge Petrekovich; brother, Wayne Clair; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. at the Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St., Doylestown 44230 with Pastor Sarah West, officiating.  Private inurnment to be held by the family at Chestnut Hill Cemetery.  Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of service.  Online obituary and guest registry are available at www.zakmonbarrenfh.com
