MARSHALLVILLE - Wade L. Bauman, age 97, passed away on November 10, 2020.
Born on December 16, 1922 in Sterling, OH, to the late Edmond and Thelma (Griner) Bauman, he was a resident at Shady Lawn in Dalton for 8 years, previously of Marshallville for 63 years. A veteran of WWII serving with the U.S. Navy, Wade retired from The Quality Castings Co. in Orrville after 36 years of service. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Canal Fulton and the Marshallville American Legion Post #718.
Preceded in death by his wife, Beulah M. in 2008; great grandchildren, Kelsey Bauman Cook, Zoe Bauman Cook; brother, Winton; sisters, Wanda, Wanita; infant brother, Wilbur; he is survived by his daughters, Marlene (Harold) Snyder of Marshallville, Candy (Ronald) Hartzler of Orrville, Pamela (Richard) Beichler of Wooster; sons, Terry (Mary Ann) Bauman of Smithville, Jerry (Kathy) Bauman of Wooster, Randy Bauman of Medina, Michael Bauman of Oklahoma; 19 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Wavalene, Winona, Waldine; half sister, Phyllis; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
