Wanda Hann Obituary

DALTON – Wanda E. Hann, age 91, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2025.

Born on October 13, 1933, in Dalton to the late Carl D. and Anna Marie (Weisgarber) Wertz, she was a lifelong resident and a 1951 graduate of Dalton High School.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Wanda’s life was a reflection of love, faith, and family. A longtime member of St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church in Massillon, her faith guided her every day and shaped the kindness and strength she shared with others. She found her greatest joy in caring for her loved ones and being part of every family gathering, especially the holidays. Wanda also cherished the simple beauty of nature and loved watching the birds that visited her yard.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lawrence; brothers, Carl “Wilbur,” Bill (Carol), and John Wertz; and sisters, Helen (Robert L.) Nelson and Donna (Kenny) Zuercher.

She is survived by her sons, Larry (Nancy) Hann and Lanny Hann, both of Dalton; grandchildren, Kathryn (Kevin) Miller, Kristen Hann, Kirby (Jay) Clutter, Kelly (Brandon) Warner, and Kelsey (Brock) Gerber; great-grandchildren, Jordyn, Jake, Collins, Rowan, Quinn, Briggs, Anderson, and Jack; and sisters-in-law, Laurel Wertz of Dalton, Ursula Wertz of Florida, and Esther Hann of Massillon.

Private services will be held by the family at a later date.  Memorials for Wanda may be made to St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church, 226 3rd St. S.E., Massillon, OH, 44646 or Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare, 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, OH, 44691.  Online obituary and guest registry are available at www.zakmonbarrenfh.com
