DOYLESTOWN – William D. Fouty Sr., age 90, passed away on September 20, 2021.
Born on August 22, 1931 in Coventry Township to the late William D. and Virginia (Scott) Fouty, he was a life-long resident of Doylestown. Having served with the U.S. Naval Reserve, William retired from Superior Meats as a truck driver with 30 years of service and then drove a school bus for Chippewa Local Schools for many years. He was a member of the Little Caboose Camp Club and was a former member of the Doylestown Lions Club. Bill never lost his sense of humor. His last words were to try and make his daughter laugh. He enjoyed motorcycles and camping with his friends. Nothing meant more to him than his family. His cheerful outlook, big smile on his face, and always making you laugh with perfect comedic timing endeared him to all that were lucky enough to have known him.
Preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ann; son, William D. Fouty III, he is survived by his daughter, Becky (Ron) Ault of Doylestown; grandchildren, Ronda (Chad) Little, Joshua (Melissa) Ault, Elizabeth (Ryan) Ault-Cook, Zachariah Ault (fiancée, Brina Reddecliff); great grandchildren, Jesse, Alistair and Arthur; a very dedicated sister that gave care to her brother, Beverly Williams; sisters, Betty (Bob) Pond, Mary (Luke) Robinson; numerous step brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
