William W. "Bill" Balogh

DOYLESTOWN – William W. “Bill” Balogh, age 70, passed away on April 6, 2026 after a long-term illness.

He was born on August 20, 1955 in Akron, OH to the late Zolton and Elsie (Arens) Balogh and was a Doylestown resident since 1975, growing up in Manchester. Retiring as a self-employed carpenter, handyman, and all-around jack of all trades, he was an adventurous individual who loved the outdoors. Bill enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing and was always ready to hang out with some friends.  He was a member of the Doylestown American Legion Post #407.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Cristy Balogh (Goehler); second wife, Jerrilyn Balogh-Brown, and sister, Janet Scott.  He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer (Doug) Porter of Smithville, Angie (Josh) Overton of Monclova, OH, Kelly Balogh of Doylestown; grandchildren, Lily Moran, Braydon Moran, Owen Porter, Cameron and Gabe Overton, Haylee Hillyer, Aubrey; two great grandchildren; brothers, Steve Balogh, John Balogh; step-daughter, Tammy (Harold) Unrue of Green; his two favorite felines, Cinder and Ashey; other family and many friends.

Per Bill’s wishes, he will be cremated and then scattered in many of his favorite places.  Memorials may be made to the family in care of Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home.  A celebration of life will be held at the Doylestown American Legion #407 at a later date.  Announcement for the service will be made via the funeral home website.  Online obituary and guest registry are available at www.zakmonbarrenfh.com
