DOYLESTOWN – Wm. Ralph Hostetler, age 82, went home to be with the Lord on August 15, 2022.
Born on July 31, 1940 in Newcomerstown, OH to the late Kenneth and Margaret (Cunningham) Hostetler, he was a resident of Doylestown for 37 years, previously of Cuyahoga Falls, and Kent, OH. Ralph retired from Hale Farm and Village and had previously worked for Rollins Truck Leasing and Cummings Diesel. A member of Valley Community Church, he loved to participate in bible studies and mowing the church grass. Ralph could fix anything, but his true passion was antiques; he and his wife, Barbara had a shop in Seville and loved to travel to different antique shows.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Deanna Swaney; sister, Peggy Tipton. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Barbara; daughters, Debora (Jim) Shelton of New Albany, IN, Patricia (Jon) Redovian of Conway, SC, Kathy (Mike) Sims of Bluffton, SC; sons Bob (Marlene) Webb of Kansas City, MO, Tom Webb (Dana Harmon) of Doylestown; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brother, Dallas Hostetler of OR; son in-law, John Swaney of Burton, OH; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 12 p.m. at Valley Community Church, 5700 Taylor Rd., Doylestown, OH, 44230 with Pastor Daryl Paris, officiating.
